What is BIO?
The Baseline Information Security Government (BIO) is the standard framework for information security at Dutch government organizations.
Who does BIO apply to?
BIO applies to all Dutch government organizations: national government, municipalities, provinces, water boards, and executive agencies.
What is the difference between BBN1, BBN2 and BBN3?
These are the three security levels: BBN1 for basic, BBN2 for medium, BBN3 for high. The level depends on the classification of your data.
How long does BIO implementation take?
On average 6-12 months, depending on your current maturity level and the required BBN level.
